Rev. Patrick C. Chibuko is originally from Nigeria, where he was born and spent most of his life. He was ordained a diocesan priest for the Diocese of Enugu in 2000. Following his ordination, he served in parish ministry, including ministry at the diocesan cathedral and in another parish, before being sent to Rome for graduate studies in Sacred Liturgy.

After completing his studies, Fr. Patrick devoted many years to theological and liturgical education. He served as a professor and department chair at the Catholic University of West Africa and established an institute dedicated to Catholic evangelization in Nigeria. Alongside his academic work, he continued to assist in parish ministry, particularly on weekends.

After approximately thirty years in academia and parish ministry, Fr. Patrick received permission from his bishop in Nigeria to serve the Catholic Church in the United States. He joined the Archdiocese of Boston in 2023 and has served in Westwood, Woburn, and the Wrentham-Plainville Collaborative, where he served as associate pastor of St. Martha and St. Mary parishes.

Throughout his priestly ministry, Fr. Patrick has served the Church in Nigeria, Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States. He brings to his new ministry a rich combination of pastoral experience, academic formation, liturgical expertise, and a deep commitment to Catholic evangelization and parish life.
