In 1999, Our Lady Help of Christians Parish in West Concord awarded its first scholarships in memory of its former pastor, Rev. Edward F. King. The tradition of the Fr. King Scholarship continues to the present day in the Concord-Carlisle Catholic Collaborative. 

Requirements for scholarship applicants:

• Registered parish membership
• Regular worship
• Acceptance into a recognized post high school program

The number and amount of the scholarships awarded each year are determined at the recommendation of the Fr. King Scholarship Review Committee in consultation with the current Pastor.

In its deliberations, the Scholarship Review Committee considers:

• Faithfulness to Sunday worship
• Service to the church community
• Financial need

Applicants are asked to complete the form below. An applicant may provide the Scholarship Review Committee with any additional information he/she deems relevant. Additional documents for the Scholarship Committee should be emailed to Tony Carbrello, Coordinator of Youth Ministry.
