Beloved Collaborative Family,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our dear friend and longtime music minister, Jim Barkovic, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. Following surgery this past week, Jim’s condition is stable, but he faces a difficult road ahead with additional treatments and many uncertainties.
Jim has shared his gifts of music, faith, kindness, and friendship with so many throughout the Concord-Carlisle Catholic Collaborative and the wider community. His ministry has touched countless lives and helped lead many closer to God through music and prayer.
We ask you to please keep Jim, his daughter Emily, and all who love them in your prayers during this difficult time.
As a sign of our shared care and support, the Collaborative is partnering with West Concord Union Church to coordinate assistance efforts in a thoughtful and organized way.
